Try Stack Quest before launch.

The courses are in place and the habit loop is live. What we want from the beta is honest use: a few sessions a week, and a report whenever something is wrong, confusing or slow.

Android
Google Play internal testing, open now
  1. Open the link below on your phone, signed into the Google account you use with Play.
  2. Accept the invitation to become a tester.
  3. Install Stack Quest from Google Play like any other app. Updates arrive automatically.

The internal test is capped by Google; if the link says it is full, leave your email on the right and we will move you over.

iPhone
TestFlight, by invitation

iOS builds go out through TestFlight invites for now. Leave an email and you will get one in the next batch, with the TestFlight link inside.

Used only to send the invite. Stored on our Firebase project; ask and it is deleted.

What to try

  • Finish the first session within two minutes of installing. Tell us if you could not.
  • Take a placement test on a unit you already know.
  • Come back the next day and see what the Practice tab wants you to review.
  • Get something wrong on purpose and judge the explanation.
  • Try a coding exercise: the JavaScript runs on the phone, offline.

How to report

Tap Report on any exercise in the app; it files a GitHub issue with the exercise id and your app version attached. For anything else, the Feedback button on this site or the support page. Every report is read.
